Please critique this photo. I've never really done people before until now. I'm new to photography, so if you could give me pointers it would really help me out.
I think I may have cropped this photo too tightly while I took the picture.

I think that this is just lovelybut I would crop this to a square to remove the non-contributing portion at the top.

It could be sharper but the composition and the emotion overwhelms the technical shortcomings.

It is, to me, a great example that a picture can transgress on all the accepted conventions and still be very good.

If this were mine, I would soften the color a little bit and maybe even add some grain to disguide the softness and amplify the romantic nature of the image.

I was going to say that cropping out the top half would help this photo alot!!!! Looks much better!!!
