Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I just had knee surgery last week. I'm going to be laid up for the next few weeks. I've already spent one week laying down. I'm up and about on crutches however I'm pretty much confined to my house. I was wondering if someone could help me find some ideas of things i can shoot. I just ordered a new 120 back as well as a speed grip for my bronica etrs. The speed grip finally allows me to use my ebay slaves and my 2 canon speedlites with my bronica. I have stock piled tons of expired and fresh rolls of 120 color print and a few rolls of color slide. I'm having a creativity block at the moment and it usually helps to brainstorm with my class mates but I can't do that at the moment. I'm open to any suggestions. I have a lab for processing as well as an epson v500 scanner. And I'm eager for critiques. I would like to start taking my photography more seriously. I will be graduating with my AAS in Photography in December of this year. Thanks can't wait for some input.

Consider the still life compositions so near and dear to painters. Setting one up and getting the lighting right can help blunt the frustration of being housebound.

I wish you a speedy and uneventful [those are the best kind] recovery.

How about milk droplets onto a plate to create a coronet effect. Bear with me as I know this sounds boring but the results are stunning and will really push your skills and produce results you're proud of.

There's an example picture here.

Get well soon!

Imogen Cunningham was tied to her house for a good portion of her life and she did some fantastic work in her backyard (see her book Flora). I've done some work that I've been very pleased with in my backyard as well. Try to look at it as a challenge - use it to expand your vison...

Food, product, macro, still-life. Get a nice light tent set up and go for it. Photograph all your jewelry for insurance purposes. Jewelry is hard to do because of the reflections. Photograph what you are having for lunch or dinner. Get some objects from around the house and make a stiff-life. Experiment with light.

Would that be a "Still" life, or are you suggesting he do a bit porno while stuck at home. H

wow thank you all very very much. This has helped me tremendously. I just needed help finding some motivation and some sort of vague direction. Now it's time for me to do some research and start shooting. once again thank you everyone, you've been a big help.
