Need help with photos

Hello everyone. This is my first post and i was wondering if you guys could give me a little help. I am shooting with a wannabe slr and have just entered a contest to win a Canon XTI. The conest is to take the best photo at the local tulip festival. I've been playing with photoshop trying to get the best result from the photo and i wanted to see what others' opinions were. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance!

#2 but needs more saturation, you want those colors to be EXPLOSIVE.

Just increased the whole saturation, added a gausien blur, slight vignette, and KABLAMMO!!!!
