Hey guys. I've been lurking on the site for the last week and finally decided to join. I recently bought a Canon Rebel XTi (4 days ago) and I'm a complete noob to the dSLR world. I upgraded from a P&S Canon A530 because I wasn't getting the results and quality that I eventually starting craving.

Most of my previous photography has been of my car and my young son. It is very sub par IMO, but that is why I'm here to learn!

Here are some pics to give you an idea of where I'm at. Besides, what's a thread without some pics, right?
