    these are some old shots i keep on my pc that i just wanted to share with you and if i could get some comments and critiques it would be great :D.

    note: they were taken with my old fuji s5700

    this is called nostalgia (that is me in the picture)

    Nice shots! I especially like the first one. Number 2 seems a little overexposed in the middle, and the spider looks a little out of focus.

    i know what you mean about the focus but my point and shoot wasn't sharp at all... part of why i went dslr, plus the spider was moving all around the flower and the focus was slow on the fuji:D

    This may be a small thing, but you are using champagne glasses for red wine in the first one and it seems a bit odd to me

    That's not a big thing in Eastern Europe. A glass is a glass is a glass...

    The shape of the glass actually makes the shot better. I like it.;)

    i was thinking that about the glasses as well... but i really like the shot!
    i like the second one even more... i'm kind of a sucker for "macro" shots though...

    i don't know much about the glasses i use (my favorite is the beer one :D) but those ones were what i had around :D
