Hi have had my Cannon 600D for 12 months just over, even though I read books read mags, my pictures don't seem to good, I'm not expecting them to be brilliant but decent.
There are no camera clubs where I live, so I've decided to join an online photography course.
I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good course for me
Thanks
Andy

Uh, for what type of photography?
Landscape, fine art, portraits, action sports, street, macro (extreme close-ups), cityscapes, astronomy, nudes, porn?

I don't want be be fantastic, just to take pictures that look good not just mmm ok.
Thank you for taking the time to reply

Regardless the genre the key is the light.

The good landscape shots are mostly done in the morning. Somewhat fewer good landscape shots are done in the evening.
The hour after sunrise and the hour just before sunset are known as the 'Golden Hours'.
Morning is often best because there is usually less particulate matter in the atmosphere, ground fog and dew are more likely, and there is usually less wind.

A commonly used for landscape photos lens accessory is a Circular Polarizing (CPL) filter.
The angle of the sun to the lens is critical to getting an even affect from a CPL.
The sun cannot be more than 30° above the horizon and the sun needs to be at or close to 90° to the long axis of the lens.

If the sun is more than 30° above the horizon or substantially more or less than 90° to the lens long axis then neutral density (ND) and graduated neutral density (GND) filters are often used on the lens instead of a CPL filter.

For portraits, skill sets additional to controlling the light are posing and post processing (image editing).

Your best bet would probably be KelbyOne. There's so much easy-to-understand content there, it's really unbeatable. I was able to get a 7-day free trial twice, and have learned many new things in both times.
