Maybe a foreground would be nice, but I understand this is sometimes hard to do. How did you do this without streaking the stars? (If you don't mind my asking?)

i just used the 50mm lens at ISO100 (i think) and used an aperture of 1.8 focused to infinity (plus or minus a couple billion light years...) i THINK my shutter speed was 30 seconds, but it could have been shorter. since i was still fairly wide, i didnt really need a shorter speed. i'll post a couple more astro-photos on this thread if people dont mind...

hmm...I've always wanted to try shots like this, but they never come out as good. so maybe my 150mm lens is not good for that... lol.

I'll just use my 14-45 at 14mm. That should work good , right
