photoshop

    hey,

    just wondering what the latest version of PS is? is it V7?
    And what is the cost, I have heard its around $500US ? is this true? :meh:

    I am only after a program to do simple lighting adjustments/saturation etc.
    What do you recommened? Photoshop?

    well photoshop is very good to manipulate your photos but can be expensive to buy $600 to $999 depending on what version you get.

    there are other cheaper alternatives.... Paint Shop Pro is alot cheaper and is able to do everything Photoshop does for $89

    PSP won't do everything that Photoshop does, but it probably does more than enough for many photogs.

    If you only need it to do the basic stuff and like the idea of having photoshop, try photoshop elements. It is around $100 and is just a watered down version of full blown photoshop.

    or perhaps arperture? that does all the stuff it sounds like you want do do!
