    Simply because this photo "Pops" for me. What do you think?

    nice photo and nice background, but the branch on the right is little bit distracting, maybe cropping it would make it better

    Thanks for the comments.

    The reason I haven't cropped it is that I'm trying to get into the habit of getting a composition right in the viewfinder, and not resorting to cropping. At this point I'd run out of zoom so I included the branch on the right as there were so many other elements to the left which would have ruined the image.

    Would you have had a chance to bow it down and hold it there, take the photo without it inside your frame, and let it move back to its former position?

    Unfortunately not. This plant was behind a fence and about 3 meters from the ground so I really had no chance of doing that.
