Obviously it varies from model to model but generally how do you adjust shutter speed and aperture on a dslr?
Is it through menus on the LCD or buttons and dials on the body?
Anyone know of a dslr that uses the traditional rings on the body?

On my camera (Canon 20D), I use the command dial, beside the shutter release button, with my finger...and also use the thumb wheel on the back. No need to go into the menus.

Most DSLRs have dials right by the shutter. Some models have a scroll wheel on the back.

I don't know of any DSLRs that have traditional dials on the body though. Those went away even more digital. The only digital camera that has old style rings on the top would be the new Leica M8 which is very expensive.

Menus or buttons would be very painful and one could not handle it ;)

My DSLR in terms of shutter and aperture has the same controls as my film SLR (same maker )

Even most Modern Film SLRs use the Command Dials rather than the rings.
