If you're that concerned about white balance, pre-meter off an 18% grey or white card.
Besides, with the size difference, I could WB bracket every shot and still have more raw pics then with raw.
I would disagree with that. jpeg is nice, sure, but it certainly doesn't have the flexability that RAW does. No where even close to it. Besides, compression issues with jpegs just isn't fun. Always shoot in the highest quality that you can, because everytime you open a jpeg file, it loses quality. RAW allows the photographer to adjust exposure when developing, pull out contrast and shadows, and adjust white balance. I will say this, it also eats up a LOT of your storage!
