Olympus Digital, indoors, no flash
another treasure from the smithsonian. pretty is it not?
I am not really sure of the sparkle looks good or not, and tell me what you think of the lighting.

hmm, i've had a good long look at the photo but i can't quite put my thumb on whatever it is i should critique on. the sparkle is a tad distracting. perhaps try a more solid contrast with the dark and light sections so you have solid black in some places and solid light in others. i don't think i'm making much sense but i hope you can gain something from it!

hmmm, highlights are good, sparkle is bad IMO...also, it looks a tad flat to me...maybe bump up the contrast, or something...i wanna see the green POP!

I bought my wife one of these for christmas last year. The lighting is harsh, but I think it stands out. Kind of the opposite of the jewelry photography that we see in catalogues.

hah, you must be rich then, this necklace was at the smithsonian and is more expensive than alot of houses lol.

It is probably more expensive than a couple of countries, but hey the little missus is worth it.
