I like the composition in #1 with the stairs. The smoke underneath his chin is also interesting. I think selective coloring would have worked better with less of it. Photo #3 looks like it has potential, if you want to take people's advice and try to do it over, it might be a good learning tool. Personally I am still trying to get better also and don't really have any good advice for you except always try to take something away from everyone's critiques!
