Reverse mounting an old Minolta prime on a Nikon lens

Will this work with the differences in the lenses? I want to shoot some super macro, and I have a ton of minolta primes.

It will work just fine......... if you can control the aperture of the lens.

What if the lens mounted on the camera is already a macro...does it magnifies the image even more? Should I expect to have less dof?

Won't make any difference if the lens is 'macro' or not. Reversing a lens on a camera only give you a set amount of magnification.
