Oh, cool: Guatemala and rainforest photos, plus the temples ... #3 is the classic view, it seems, and I still like that one best. Or well, ok: a classic view, maybe.

Actually, the last one is taken from the top of Temple II (one of the pyramids on the main plaza). But you are not allowed to climb all of the pyramids anymore.

As for the runway, I am not sure, actually forgot if it is paved nowadays (5 yars ago). I came in by car from Santa Elena, which is possible today, a narrow but good road.

The new great adventure now is El Mirador, an even larger city further north from Tikal, with no road leading there yet. I plan to go there within the next few years.
