So I went for a hike today. It was the first time I've had the SLR out to take pictures of anything but my car for a while now lol! I've been so busy this summer that I haven't had much time to photograph things. So I took these today while at the park. Its nice to be back!

I had a hard time getting a real sharp, steady shot. The light was fading and I had to use high ISO. (plus I'm kinda rusty!)

    lol It's also my 400th post! :D

I think it's a little bit overexposed, and maybe some midtone contrast or something could help these photos. For some reason I'm getting a "snapshotty" feel from these pictures.

I had to use 1250 ISO I think. These were around F/4 if I remember correctly. The lens I was using is only f/3.5 (40-150mm) lol I'm a college student and can't afford big fast lenses (my money goes to my big fast car  lol)

Actually, I'm surprised, the Olympus sensor does quite well at high ISO's. Pictures are useable at 1600. Although you can see grain.
