Thanks for the comments, all. The birds were taken with my Sigma 100-300f4 + 1.4XTC at 420mm. It was near sundown and I forgot my tripod back in Arizona, so ISO was high and noise too much. I really wanted pix of those glossy ibis and the black crowned night heron for myself. I'm still kicking myself for forgetting the tripod! The others were with my Sigma 10-20mm ... I loved the effect of the ultra wide-angle on that walkway. I didn't have my polarizer and agree the sky is a bit dull with the grass -- maybe I'll play with that image a bit.
