I have been taking photos for about six months, so I am still new trying to get better.

I know the second is underexposed, I wanted a dark contrast of the mountain.

I like the first one but as for #2 I would have to agree with PatrickCheung can we see the color version? Just edit your post and add it.

Second one I shot in b&w instead of PP it afterward. I took it a while back, and will pretty much only shoot color and PP the picture to b&w later. One of those little things I have learned...

I think that the 2nd photo is actually rather nice. It has an ominous feeling to it that I might not have picked up had it been "correctly exposed."

#1 is quite dramatic, good shot. But it looks soft, mebbe out of focus.
#2 needs something, probably brighter sky and a bit more detail in shadows. Landscape shots don't usually come out the way the eye sees them. On a trip to Hawaii last March, I took about 300 landscape shots. Final self-critiquing, only two passed full muster for me.
