Were you using a filter? Even on a dreary day the snow should appear whiter? Maybe it's just these old eyes...

Well yeah, I guess it's scanning thingy... You're right railman44, the snow should appear whiter... :roll: It doesn't look good, they are too dark.
I screwed up.

It's all right, Aga, between scanner quality and the fact that we all view images through a million different monitors, it's amazing we can reach a conclusion on anything!

Your composition, especially on #3, is very good....there is a distinct greenish gray tinge to these images though. Just keep at it.

i like #1 & 3. great compositions! do you have PS. if so, run them thru and see if boosting the levels and curves helps. :thumbsup:
