Floating on my kayak in the middle of Bull Lake located in the NW corner of MT. The water was almost perfectly still, and the reflection created a bottle shape. It was like a bottle full of landscape.
Hello people ..
scouting mini-hike today was pleasant .. I didn't went too far, just stuck around nearby lake (50.36389598692557, 14.442982463794715). Tried somehow to crop the photo but I've always returned back to original 3:2 size ..

This was shot during my visit to India last year, when we're coming back from the Ind0-China border in eastern Sikkim. The weather was overcast and it would change very quickly from turn to turn. We parked on the side of the road as this was the clearest I had seen the lake from the mountains.
On a trip into the mountains a couple of months ago, we headed to one of the beautiful mountain lakes, when we arrived the sky was flat and grey, but as we hiked around and relaxed a while, the sun broke through, it was not the light I wanted, But the stillness of the lake and the light did make...
Okay, so my boyfriend's family owns an island on a huge lake in Maine, how freaking awesome is that? Even more awesome: the lake has more loons on it than I've ever seen in my whole life, and I grew up in northern New England with many a summer trip on northern lakes. So, this year was the first...

I don't typically photograph animals, but while walking the local lake I got a few frames that caught my attention. A bit of a far cry from photographing for publications, events, and people. Thoughts?
Hello !
I will try to upload one photo I took each day for one month.
I spent 30 minutes in front of fish today because I wanted a nice shot, and those guys didn't want to do what I expected..
Finally, I took that photo and I'm pretty happy! What do you think about it ?
So this is in my hometown, and I wish I could have been there to take pictures! I also think, if it weren't dangerous, that it'd be cool to take photos of the cars from under the lake!
Oops! Cars accidentally fall through water in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
What are your thoughts?
Hey Guys!
Glad to be on this site now, hopefully I'll get some good critiques to take my photos to the next level!
I originally posted the attached photo to a Reddit forum (\r\photocritique) trying to find some good critique. They suggested that I darken the shadows and increase the tonality...
This was taken at Lake Louise, Alberta. Not your stereotypical image from the area, with crystal clear waters, blue sky and glacier. The misty scene that morning was in fact smoke from forest fires blowing in from the US. The smoke followed us all through southern Alberta from Canmore, Banff and...
