I like it a lot. For me the flatness works to convey a môod, and it is very appealing. I think it would work with more contrast, but that would be a different photo, not a better version.

Where the flatness looks wrong to me is on the edges of the boat at are dull and lifeless, almost sans any detail.
I can understand that in a blown out white but not in a grey.
