I don't typically photograph animals, but while walking the local lake I got a few frames that caught my attention. A bit of a far cry from photographing for publications, events, and people. Thoughts?

Thank you all. For a complete on the fly shot of something I don't shoot I was surprised by it and glad to see others like it as well.

I got a shot with the wings spread wide open, but I clipped the left wing with the edge of the frame a bit and it ruined it for me, but I did get this one.
