Using a D90.
I think that is a body in the water. Good eyes you got there. I didn't even notice him, but now I remember there was a guy swimming out there right by the divider lines.

#1 - Nice shot...did you bounce the flash? Looks like you dragged the shutter to get the background exposed properly...nice. A small bounce card would have help fill the area under the cat's chin a bit. Nice DOF. Any reason you didn't include the legs and paws in this picture?

#2 - The exposure and colors are good, but the horizon is really tilted. I would have put the ship on the right and included more of the dock.
