My wife and I went out to the local botanical gardens a few days ago to shoot our daughter. I would have liked to gone a few hours later when the sun wouldn't be so direct, but with a baby you do it whenever they're in a good mood! These are a few of my favorites.
1. 45 mm, f6.3, 1/50 sec, ISO 200; no flash
2. 35mm; f6.3; 1/125 sec, ISO 200; no flash
3. 50mm; f6.3; 1/160 sec; ISO 200; no flash
4. 35mm; f6.3; 1/500 sec; ISO 200; fill flash
5. 35mm; f6.3; 1/125 sec; ISO 200; no flash
I did basic post-processing...fine-tuning white balance, sharpening, levels, etc. #4 was the only one that was cropped. In #2 I had to clone my arm out of the top right corner (my wife took that picture). You can still see my shadow...I wasn't willing to get too far from her sitting there! The were all taken in aperture priority mode.
Please critique away!
