Found this list on yahoo this morning. It's a pretty good list. There are a bunch of movies I haven't seen. I'll have to keep this list handy for a rainy day!

I also see too many films with Ben Stiller and Will Ferrell on the list.

It was rather tedious to have to scroll through such a long list with all the summary info, rather than just have a plain-text list, so I might have missed or overlooked some films. I came up with a short list of comedies that I think are worth watching.

Well, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective should DEFINITELY have made the list, IMO. Hilarious movie.

I see airplane made it. That's good, that one's hilarious as well. I LOOOOOOVE the "sweat scene" in the plane, with Nielson coming in every now and then saying "I just wanna tell you both: good luck. We're all counting on you." Even after the plane has landed, LOOOOL. Oh, and another epic one:

"Can you fly this plane and land it?"
"Surely you can't be serious!"
"I am serious. And don't call me Shirley."

No PINK PANTHER movies, ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME???? There will NEVER be another Peter Sellers as Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau!. Not to put Steve Martin down because I love him to death, but he didn't even come close to Peter Sellers. But then again no one ever came close to Sean Connery as Bond either!







At least Mel Brooks was well represented with Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein (RIP Marty and Madeline, you two were SIMPLY IRREPLACEABLE).

Pulp fiction is a comedy? It's pretty classic, but never thought of it a a comedy.

The biggest problem with that list is that it is not possible to narrow comedies down to 100!!! Just not possible!!
