14*F -10*F wind chill

On my way to work yesterday I saw these guys going about their daily job. What came to mind was all the people who were complaining about how cold it was on there way to work.

This cold spell is funny/interesting: it’s affecting a huge portion of the U.S. so everyone is talking about it. Here just west of Denver we’re sitting at -10 at the moment. Sure that’s really damn cold but we just roll with it. Meanwhile judging from my friends and family back in Texas where I’m from, you’d think the world was ending as they’re supposedly get close to 0 tomorrow night.

All about perspective.

At 37C I am snapping in flip flops and board shorts at the moment
