1st Macro

Finally saved up enough for a macro lens. tried it out yesterday. I got a lot to learn about macro but this is my first.... ....this is going to be addicting, I'm hooked.

 

Great start! What kind of settings did you use? What lens are you using?

D200-Sigma 180-f/11-1/160-iso400-aperture priority-auto WB-spot metering and used AF. I tried some manual focus but there was a slight breeze, my eyes are bad and this one kept moving every 4 or 5 seconds. Thanks for comments and taking the time to look.

 

Handheld? Great photo. Breeze is the killer of most macro shots, unfortunately. This is great.

Thanks Markw...used a tripod, I'm too shaky most of the time to do handheld.
