Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
So I have finally got my Nikon D5000.:D Mostly I've been practicing with the different settings and using different styles of photography for practice. SOME of these where shot for an assignment I had in my photography class, showing blur of motion, stop of motion, DOF & focus, etc. SOME where just pure fun and practice. I have not edited any of these shots, and as a beginner I would REALLY appreciate some much needed C&C.
:blushing:Thanks!

I like the last one, not really in focus but still cool shot. I don't get the long exposure picture.

Good point with the last one, but I must add it was rather late in the evening and I was already at "loss of sleep" mode. I also never tried it before so for a 1st time drop shot I'm still amazed at myself with it. And if you are referring to #3, it's what happens when you go trail riding in the deepest part of the woods very late at night and can't really tell what the drivers are doing.:lmao: Just thought it came out pretty neat in the end.

On number one, I would have done 1 of two things:

Shot vertical to get the whole faucet in the shot, or zoomed in until all the focus was on the drops. Probably the latter though.

Look up the rule of thirds, it will help a ton. Also avoid taking pictures of flowers in the sunlight (the pink one) and I really would have gotten closer and used a larger aperture. But it looks like your off to a good start. What really helped me when I first started getting into photography is that I spent a several hours a week online looking at tutorials and articles on techniques, and going to other photographers website and analyzing why their photos worked and what I liked or disliked about them. It's a good way to teach yourself what to look for when taking your own. Good luck!
