Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Got a new camera (d7000) love it btw. and haven't been out enough to shoot anything so i decided to try some product stuff. the first one i think my dof is a little too shallow but i was more trying to get my lighting down. the second i actually took to a print shop(not saying its an amazing photo) but i wanted to see how large i could print. I did a 24x36 print and it came out awesome. she had it all the way up to 36x54 but i didnt feel like spending $60 on a test print lol. I was amazed at what this camera could do. I was originally going to get a d700 but i came across the d7000 for $799 and couldnt turn it down.

Well, you can see how it's dark (#1 I mean) on the right side? The new white forum background helps to show it as well. That's an easy fix in post.. I like to use a curves adjustment layer and pull it down real low. That will show you all of the spots on the background that aren't 255,255,255.

The business card is a bit too flashy for my tastes. I hate myself for saying this, but I'd mimic someone else's layout. Here's some ideas: business card template - Google Search

Also, the font is kind of extreme and the weird slants on the letters (like the M and W) make it hard to read. I'd go with some more simplicity.

Just my 2 cents.

Grats on your new camera, very nice.

you can see the card? its not showing up on my computer lol

also, i uploaded the wrong photo for the first one, is it a d40?

thanks!

On the business card...

less is MORE

Pick one "trick" for the card, instead of using all the magic in one place.

Yep, it's a D40 now... it was a key chain with lanyard. I take back my "dark on the right side" comment in that case.

But yeah, I see the business card. White letters glowing blue on a greenish-blue background.
EDIT: Grayish-blue is more like it... flux running on this pc so everything appears super-warm until I turn it off.

It's great for choosing colors that complement one another.

Where the hell did you find the d7000 for 800?

i was originally going to go with something like this but then have my contact info on the back

MUCH better, Tyler.
The font is the one trick on that card. Clean, to the point. Not all "in your face".

So you think that it will work? I try to think if someone handed me this, what would i think?

I like the no info on the front lol

slight self-advertizing? haha its cool. not to be rude, im not a fan of that card, i cant tell what that pink thing is lol. i think if you had either leclick or your name instead of both, it would look better. unless you work for a company with more than one photog. but since you're good looking, i can overlook it ;) lol

Miss Creams card makes me immediately think hair/nail salon.
