I'll be honest they do nothing for me. Both flat, with really nothing eye catching. :(

I think i like the first one the best but I think it may be a little out of focus and maybe a little underexposed.

Both are very flat.. and by that I mean they lack contrast. It almost looks like you killed the contrast with editing, or you weren't working with much light. The white point needs to be brought up so the sheets are white. I like the perspective and the composition of #2, much more than #1.. but why the tilt? I think the tilt hurts the image in this case. It's a popular trend or whatever but to me it just looks amateurish unless the scene calls for it (and I've done it before, believe me.. just have changed my mind since).

I think it might make for a more interesting story if the bottle was open and the cap nowhere to be seen.

Its amazing what a little editing can do :P

Reznap what did u use and what adjustments did you do to fix the picture that much?

^ Thanks, used Photoshop. Obviously rotated the whole image so the bottle was straight up and down. Brightness/contrast to start with, applied to the whole image. Painted some white over the dark wrinkly shadows of the white backdrop. Cloned 2 flower petals. Small bit of noise reduction and some localized sharpening (sharpen tool).

The edit takes it from a picture to a photograph. Changing the white point makes all of the elements jump off the page as opposed to being bland and lost. I am still amazed at how much "post" can effect all the technical work of taking the shot.
