2 pics from today C&C please

Hi guys, I was off work today, and the weather almost cooperated, so I got out for a bit to take some photos. Here are the two best (in my opinion).

I'm pretty happy with both of these shots, but I can't seem to get the second one to look right. It seems to be a touch over-exposed, but I'm not sure how to fix it.

could have used a grad filter on 2, plus looks like ur sensor is quite dirty.

HDR might have been a good choice for the second one

the first one looks overexposed (snow can be tricky)

I like the first shot. The white balance looks a little off and your focus is a little off. It looks like you focused on the little line of brush behind the first deer.

The second shot looks as though the white balance is off just a little bit. Other than that it doesnt do much for me. As already mentioned it would be a good candidate for HDR.

The first one looks really soft, and the second one seems to have lost a lot of detail in the sky.. I like the ground portion of it, however.
