Took these at the 2012 Australian Moto GP, this was my second time shooting Moto GP! I shoot with a Nikon D7000 and a 55-300mm telephoto.

I like the second picture of Casey Stoner in this set. He is the KING of Phillip Island! It's a damn shame he retired; so young still too. Now Marc Marquez is riding that bike.

He means that these are all shot with a high shutter speed.. so they are just "Stopped". Panning with a slower shutter speed would show motion, in a blurry background, and the wheels turning (blur).. maybe even some streaks from things being passed. Much more attractive to look at.. then "stopped" bikes.+

Absolutely; Although, I think it's Dani Pedrosa's year this year. The way he raced the latter part of the season, he showed he's ready.

Rossi is looking good on the Yamaha though. Glad to see he's back to where he normally is. They just wrapped up the Sepang test today.

Often we see high speed action and think to crank the shutter as fast as it will go.

So ready for the season to come back! You got a really nice shot of Nikky 69 up there.

It will be interested to see how Vale does on his return to the Yamaha machine. Ducati looks like CRT this year. Pedrosa is in fine position, but I wonder if his new mate in the stable, Marquez, will have an immediate impact. I definitely expect him to make some podiums this year.

Well they just wrapped up the first test in Sepang. Pedrosa was first, followed by Lorenzo, Rossi, and Marquez. Of course, it's still early, but I think it's Pedrosa's year this year.
