2018 Washington State FFA trap shoot

Today was state finals for trap in my area. My stepson was shooting, so it gave me a good opportunity to continue to improve my photography. The majority of these shots were taken with my 70-300mm.

Yes, the first one was taken with a Karma Drone using a GoPro Hero 6.

Thank you. I got the drone on a whim as it only cost me about $300. I thought it would be a cool toy for a couple of weeks and I would be over it. It is super cool, but now because I have a business, I need an FAA license to fly it. Once I get that I will share more from it.

I think, if you are using it for personal use, it falls under hobby/recreational use.
It is only if you sell the photos or use it commercially that you fall under the non-hobby/recreational rules.

Correct. I have posted a few things up on my personal Facebook page, but if I post any of it on my business page then it becomes commercial. Also the recreational rules have a lot more restrictions on where/how you can fly. I would like to be able to fly under the FAA 107 rules. I have done a ton of research on it. Right now the only thing holding me back is time. I am gone most of May, I am hoping I can get some studying in and take the test early June.
