Can you elaborate on why?

Well think about it a little bit. What is the like hood of existing large cities changing to that extended? How defend are cities like London, New York, Paris, Roma, Amsterdam, Berlin, Hamburg, Moscow and etc today that they where 100 years ago. Some of those cities where rebuild after WWII.

Who is developing the technology, what is it going cost and who going to pay for it?

We have been in space for about forty years. Have you heard today’s new about the current space station?
