Went to a local parking deck today, mid day bleh, and tried for another HDR shot. This time I used a tripod, but due to the clouds moving like crazy I had some pretty bad ghosting. I Took the best exposed sky shot, isolated the sky, then did the PS single file HDR on that section just to get rid of the ghosts.

Thoughts?

Very nice symmetry going on here. You could ease back on the Highlight smoothing slider to get a cleaner look to the image. Particularly the sky which just looks dirty.

V2, dropped the sky contrast to make it look cleaner. Better?

Thats better to me. Now if you can do a selective color fix and remove a bit of magenta from the sky. The clouds look more pinkish than white. Id also like to see a bit more detail in the really dark areas such as the black tracks on the bottom. It seems you could have used a couple more exposures, one over for the darker areas and one under for the blown out cloud areas.

That one is kind of rough for me because I am colorblind to certain colors. When someone says magenta, I just see blue, so i really have no clue what to get rid of. I do see that it has kind of a teal look to it, is that what you are talking about?

As for the sky, I wish I would have gotten a few more exposures but the clouds seemed to be moving pretty fast and I am shooting with a D3100 which doesn't have bracketing :(

I want to play as well. :) Edited the second edit: reduce magenta, increase blue a tad, whiten clouds.
I really like the line work here!
Btw, Bynx, am I seeing some green stuff on yours?

Well i like when others start editing my photo's, it means at least I am getting closer! Com, I tried the same thing you did, jacking up the blue, I still can't get rid of the tint on the dark clouds to the right so I bailed.

What are you guys using to reduce magenta? I always try Color Balance, or Channel Mixer, but they never seem to work out right.

Compaq I have no idea what you see, but there shouldnt be any green in the image. Where do you see it?

ok, final attempt. Lightened sky and dark items on the horizon, and in the center. Tried to bring the blue back. Time to move on to another one :D

I like compaqs, I didn't notice the green until he said it but there is some in the sky on my screen Bynx. They all look pretty good though I like the image.

Ok, any greenishness to the sky was from my attempts to remove the magenta cast in both the sky and clouds. The blue that was left doesnt look right to me now that I see it in subdued light in the room now the sun has gone down.
