30 St. Mary Axe (or ...boy do I need a TSE lens)

cheers everyone

Becky, why do you think that you hijacked the thread? If anyone did it was me, surely?

Andy mentioned a 'need' for a TSE lens in the title, and showed the perspective manipulations necessary to reach his goal in the absence of one. I thought that hinted that the technical side of perspective control was part of his reason for posting. Maybe I was wrong. My apologies if I was.

Best,
Helen

Really sharp! Nice shot.

Its not thread jacking if we are learning something about the subject.

I'm very grateful for all the info

Nice that the data held up after such extreme transforms. This is AKA parallax correction?

Also funny that when I searched TSE lens, this very thread was just 4 down in Google. Bots are among us!

I'm really impressed with how well the original image has stood up to being knocked about, especially when you consider what a small section of it made it the the final version. It looks a little soft towards the top of the 'gherkin', but I'm guessing that's due to atmospheric conditions more than the processing.

I love it, the final shot looks great. Thanks for showing the steps...educational.

many thanks
