300m lens for 350d

Hi

I have upgraded from my fuji finepix s5500 to canon 350D.

i am loving my 350d but i am really missing the reach my fuji had.

any advice on a 300mm lens. (budget £200.00)

I know you get what you pay for but i ain't got much money.(getting married this year)

You also might look into getting a good teleconverter and a shorter lense too...

I have a 70-300 4.0-5.6 that I absolutely despise. My advice is to save until you can do it right.....

I have some older AF lenses for sale - really cheap. I'd have to look into how much shipping would be to your area. Not bad for starters (they served me well for a long time) and definitely a bargain.

I paid £150 for my EF 90-300mm, Brand New off eBay. Try there, and then you could spend £50 on another lens.

i have a for my moms old canon 75-300 its film but i use a film lense on my nikon and like the feal of the cannon film lenses better than their digital lenses

the 100-300mm 4-5.6 USM is a pretty darn good lens for the price (about $240, but I am sure you could find a goo used one on www.keh.com for under $200)


It is a very nice, fast-focusing lens.
