Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I have problems putting in 35mm film - so I took it to photo shop who put film in and also took film out when ready for processing when I went to collect my pics the negatives where blank who is at fault?

Maybe you should just go digital

When you say Blank, are the images white,or black?

White means your over exposing shots, which if you look at the negatives, which will be Black,

Black means there under exposing, meaning the negatives will be transparent.

Both could well be a camera issue,if its not been used,or youve just bought it,try getting it to a store for a service.

the other thing, might be when they have handled it before processing. and they've exposed it to light.

But keep at it! Films something thats Dying out,but its the route of photography.and its good to learn from where its came :)

It may be possible that the film did not thread properly and no photos were taken. What kind of camera?

You are at fault, for not learning how to load and unload film in your own camera.

If you can't load film you shouldn't own a 35mm because it is not rocket science

More facts are needed from you, OP.

Was it (traditional) black and white film? c-41 developing at a 1hr photo will turn black and white negatives clear (bye pictures). This DOES happen.. some of the people working at these places either don't know the difference or don't care. They do make c-41 black and white film though and that you can have developed at a lab/1hr photo.

If the camera didn't expose the film it (negatives) will be clear as well, but the leader should be dark (where you loaded it). If the leader is clear and the negatives are clear - they goofed the developing up. This would also happen if you tried to have them develop traditional black and white film.

There is a chance it was loaded improperly as well, always make sure the winder knob (where you wind them film) is turning when you advance the film. If the shutter is broken (my Nikon FE shutter died) you will also have unexposed (clear) negatives.

Hope that info helps.
