35mm Slide Film?

Whats your favorite brand and where's the cheapest place to purchase them at? Right now I'm using Revue ISO 100 slide film. It does a great job (considering I got it for $5 for a 36exp roll). I do want something more high quality without spending a fortune. Thanks in advance!

Many people swear by Fuji Velvia for its high contrast and bright, vivid colors. It's great for landscapes and nature shots and such. The only thing it doesn't do well (and I've heard it's actually quite poor at it) is portrait shots, because it makes bad-looking skin tones.

Thanks! I think I'll try out the Fuji Velvia. I usually don't shoot that much portrait shots anyway!

For me when it comes to slide film it has to be Kodak Ektachrome 100VS ....

Velvia 100F or Provia 100F - if you want a portrait slide film - Astia 100. All Fuji so get them dev'd at a Fuji lab (double check they use Fuji chemicals)

Another vote for Velvia 50 or 100F for most everything except portraits.

I kind of like the Kodak Ektachrome 100vs for portraits as well but I really don't shoot too many anyway.
