I recommend this for folks who want to learn and challenge themselves.

I started last year and was regular for the first month, after that I found it tough to keep up. Also, I wasn't keen on sharing too many portraits online, dint have subjects

I started sharing on FB, but later switched to Instagram. Last year's effort had many more folks on Instagram, this year, the participation seems lesser, maybe because its advanced.

I'm trying it this year too on Instagram. Clicking on the hashtag for each week and checking out other's pics and creativity on weeks' theme really exposes us to different ideas and approaches people take. Very good learning exeperience.

Would be good if we could have participation in this forum too - something like one thread per week.

I started the 2016 challenge when I stumbled upon it a few months ago and was doing it was a friend. Said friend bailed on me so Ive been at it alone. I think this is definitely above my skill set, but I would love to participate. Thanks for sharing!

Can you start this at any time? I've missed the first few weeks, but this looks exciting and something to have a good go at.

You can start any time. You can post the pic for this weeks theme and checkout others who have posted their pics.

Technically, you can still take pics of week1 and post them and tag them correctly, that tag will show you all the pics of week one.

I really like the routine, challenge and the concept of viewing and learning from many others at our own pace.
