550ex

I bought one of these on eBay a couple of months ago and even though he said he had a manual it didn't come with one. So basically I have no idea how to use the flash and all I do is put it on my camera and start snapping. I was wondering if anyone knew of any online manuals or maybe just some simple advice on getting the 550ex to be more user friendly.
