5D Mark II Shooting HD video clips, anyone?

Very cool video and the sound was pretty good when I connected my headphones to the laptop  You seem pretty gung-ho about the whole ordeal so good luck to you buddy! I'll be waiting to see future videos.

Well if my 5D MKII already does "decent" video why buy another camera rig for coverage? Right? Yes I will post clips from upcoming wedding in mid Feb, definitely! Thanks for the interest...

I took some video samples with my 5D Mk2 and our videographer put this together. All these footage were taken from my back and front yard. Here's the link:

Wow, quality is on point, however shoot some action and the right score to it, would like to see some other work...

I'm slowly starting to invest more time in video since I purchased the 5D MKII however I'm really a photographer by trade plus I don't have the proper rigs for video. I'm going to be shooting the behind the scenes for our first shoot this season next weekend and see what I come up with. What I didn't like about the video function is how much noise it can pick up from focusing and zooming the lens. I might need an external boom mic to clean it up...

Absolutely I always shoot with external mics, I see there is a boom setup that mounts to rig, I just gotta choose what rig to get $$$ before the wedding...
