Took my gear out today...and out of a hundred shot, I found these.

both of them are pretty soft / blurred, although the car is the worst... what shutter speed did you shoot at? Tripod with a panning head?

Panning takes practice!

Yeah as someone mentioned, they are a bit soft. Maybe your shutter speed was too low?

first look was impressive; but reading Cgipson, i verified the enlarged image and i found it true.... especially regarding car..... i seldom succeeded in panning, even though my attempts were scarce

I probably shot these between 1/30 and 1/80. Handheld. I'm not making excuses but this was my first time ever, and with your feedback and practice I'll produce a better image.

This suffer less shake; yet the guy appears too centered and too much of space above him; if this is trimmed to be more horizontal that would accentuate "speed"

Thanks for your input Frequency. This image was not cropped at all. It seems like all the images I shot right in front of me suffer from shake and the one's that are going away from me look much better.
So next time I will try it with a monopod.
