70-200 F/4 L

I recently purchased 70-200 F/4L. I tested at showroom for about 20 minutes with various shots. Now at home in absolute silence I noticed that when I press the button half way for focus, it gives faint squeak sound which then continues as humming when the IS works. After taking the photo when IS stops it stops with the same squeak. Is this normal? Photos are perfect. I do not want the showroom guy to fiddle with lens. When I am outside in open I do not hear this.:blushing:

it happenes to me too when i use the VR on the 55-200 and im guessing its just the sound of the stabilizer motor.

I have the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM lens and it does the same thing. I wouldn't worry about it.
