Well.. I almost had my hands on a used 85mm 1.8G.. but the seller backed out at the last second! I had him talked down to $280 (thanks to the current rebates) but i think somebody offered his full $350 before i could show up with the cash.

I've decided to look for a used 85mm 1.8G AND a used 105 macro.. I'll end up with the one i can find the best deal on first

Anything under $400 is still a great deal on the 85mm.
