I like the image Ed, I just wish you could have got a little more light into his eyes; they're just a bit racoony.

Nice image, nice composition, great contrast and colors, the only thing that bugs me is the linear shadow on the left side of his face, I'd probably fix that in Photoshop if it were me.

Shadow gone, but did I hurt the photo.



Or just go with a different pose

I like the closer crop of the first and the boys expression in the second..

Are you scared of horses ?

Or did you just not think of turning them "into" the light and eliminating the shadows ?
