A Break in the rain - CC Request

I'm wondering if this image can work whilst being underexposed as you can see.

The reason it's underexposed is so that the suns rays are more visible.

i personally like it like this but am curious to know what you all think.

I feel as if the foreground is a little too dark. It could be brightened up a bit to help give the photo more of a "punch". You could still leave the sky at the same exposure, just bring out the foreground a bit (kinda like what I did). I also added a little bit of contrast to the foreground as well. I think it gives more impact now than before. But if you like it the way it was, then so be it. It is your photo after all

I do like what you've done with the foreground. The only problem is that my photoshop skills are decent but this may be a little too time consuming to do this properly.

It may be a I'm bored and have 5 hours to kill type project lol.

How about one raw conversion optimized for the lovely sky and a second raw conversion optimized for the shadowy portion, then blending the two??? Far,far less than five hours.
