Thanks for the feedback... This was a spur of the moment shot taken with my 'nifty 50' wide open at f/1.8 so the depth of field was really shallow... As I look closer, it seems like the eyes are a bit soft and the nose is razor sharp... Hahaha...

Does the skin color and saturation look good to you?

Just by looking at the image, my only basis would be her shirt(white?)..and it looks a tiny bit warm. I'm not sure what time of day you shot this so accuracy wise the white balance for all I know maybe spot on.


Skin saturation looks fine with me. I prefer using vibrance slider rather then the saturation as it alters the skin tones less btw. Honestly I'm more worried about the sharpness on her eyes if you are going to print this on a 8x10 - just mask the eyes and sharpen that layer.
