A few weeks ago I went to the Franklin Park Conservatory with my daughter and my mother for some butterfly something-or-other. :D I wasn't so interested in that. But I knew that the FPC has an ongoing Chihuly exhibit so I figured I'd see what I could get. For those who don't know, Chihuly is a world-renowned glass blower and his stuff is pretty neat. Here are a couple I took....

To be honest, I think Chihuly's work would be better suited to colour. These conversions seem a bit heavy on the mid-tones, and lack the real 'pop' you can get from some of the amazing colour combinations he creates.

I like the B&W conversions, it adds mystery to the image. When I first looked at then I was not sure what they were until I read your copy. If in color I would guessed it was glass. Nice to know there is another Columbusite on the forum.
