A couple of pretty flowers

Nice colours in both!
The first photo would be stronger if the bottom of the flower wasn't cut off.
The second one might be better if it was shot vertical instead of horizontal.

The flowers are pretty, but the backgrounds aren't. If you work on trying to find different angles where the background is more pleasing, I think you would have more successful images. The general rule of thumb is that if it doesn't add to the photo, it shouldn't be included.

Also, both flowers have parts cut off so it's kind of akward where the picture is cropped. The missing pieces kind of draw the viewer's eye out of the image.
